Geocache Description:

This cache is used to keep track of the cachers who are resurrecting caches in Israel. You DO NOT need to resurrect a cache to log this. But if you do - and log a note about it, your name will go up on the Hall of Fame.

Finding this geocache should not be too hard. It's a small tupperware container hidden at the posted coordinates. There are buses and lots of free parking nearby (a rare thing in greater Tel-Aviv!).

This cache page aims to gives credit to all those cachers who "resurrected" a cache within Israel. If you find a "qualifying" cache you are encouraged to take credit for it here. See details below:


The fine print:
1. A qualifying cache is an active cache that was found or replaced more than 365 days after the most recent among: a "find" log, a note confirming that the cache is in place, an "enable" log, an owner maintenance, or the original publication (in which case you're also FTF).
2. A qualifying cache must also be physically located in the State of Israel, as well as being listed as being in Israel on geocaching.com. Caches beyond the Green Line (i.e. the 1949 armistice agreement) are generally acceptable, however, if the cache owner chooses to list the cache as being located in Palestine, the cache becomes ineligible for this challenge.
3. The qualifying cache must either be found or replaced by you. A cache replacement will only be qualifying if the cache owner (CO) accepts the replacement by noting this in an "owner maintenance" log. You're expected to get the CO's approval ahead of time, because if the owner doesn't accept the replacement for any reason you need to remove the replacement cache as soon as possible.
4. A disabled or archived cache can be a qualifying cache, with the CO's agreement, but only if it was disabled/archived solely on the bases of DNFs and it's re-enabled/unarchived after your find. Be aware that some caches can't be unarchiving (e.g. there is another cache that is too close).
5. You must always place a log on the qualifying cache page. Either as a "find", if this was your first time finding it, or otherwise as a "note".
6. Any caches you wish to get credit for must be listed on this cache page e.g. in a "note" log), with the following information: The qualifying cache's name, its GC code, and how many days passed between the day you found/replaced it and the date the cache was last found/replaced/re-enabled/maintained/published.
7. You may log as many resurrection notes as you'd like, before or after logging this cache as "found".
8. You may retroactively log caches you found in the past, as long as they qualified at the time you found them.
9. The Hall of Fame list is ordered by the number of the user's qualified finds, then by the greatest duration since the last find, and finally by the date of the most recent "resurrection".
10. These rules may be updated from time to time, so please make sure to read the most updated version before listing caches for consideration. Past accepted caches can be disqualified only if they didn't comply with the rules as they were at the time of submission.
