Geocache Description:

This geocache is part of the Gold Country Geocaching Poker Run 2013. All the fun of geocaching with an added twist; a poker run as well! Check goldtrail.com for more details. Tour through Gold Country and find the geocaches hidden for this event. There will be great views, scenic drives, historic communities and interesting sites to explore!

This series of caches will take you on a backroad to Red Lake (North end). A 4x4 is not needed. You may see some people camping at the lake. A truck pulling an RV came up behind us on the road. Watch out for the mice!! Starting at 12th and Tranquille Rd. Kamloops BC. Drive west along Tranquille Rd. Follow the main road. Turns into Tranquille-Criss Creek Road to the Red Lake area. Once you reach the Copper Creek Road junction turn right staying on the Tranquille-Criss Creek Road then left about 1km up the road onto this backroad to Red Lake. If coming from Savona follow Hwy 1 across the bridge to Sabiston Road and follow for approx. 24km until you reach Copper Creek Road.
