HI TONKA LOVERS!!!!
This is a 2 stage letterbox hybrid, meaning expect both GZ and written directions.
Stage 1 is a nano, final cache is a regular size container.
Both stages have easy, curbside parking. Both are wheelchair accessible.
No need to get off the sidewalk on either of these stages. All my caches are kid-friendly. I like to encourage young geocachers.
All you need are sharp eyes!
This is one of my most popular letterbox caches and this is its fourth location! I just have to keep moving it where the Tonkas are.
Originally, I had in mind this would be a cache for BOYS (of all ages). That said, I'm a female and as I was growing up, I loved playing with my older brother's trucks. So, not wanting to be gender-prejudiced, GIRLS (of all ages) are welcome too! I WOULD LOVE to see some photos with your logs of the Tonkas at work. Please just don't show anything to give away the location of the cache.
Living in this area, I have had ample opportunity to watch the "BIG BOYS" at work every day, as they work virtually in my backyard. First, it was my own neighborhood (we were the first house on the block), then the Mountain View Corridor, and now, two new "villages" are being built in the Daybreak Community. With all the new houses going up on this side of the lake, I'm hoping the Tonkas will be around for awhile so the cache can stay in this spot for at least a couple of years.
While I'm keeping the original log, since this is a new location, there is a new FTF. Lots of fun Tonka swag for trade. Please trade fairly, kid-oriented swag encouraged. I love TBs and this container has room for them, plus geocoins.
Cute big stamp for you fellow letterboxers to imprint in your stamp journal. If you don't have a stamp journal, kids, print your hand! I would LOVE to see YOUR stamp in the cache log!
I appreciate that you take care to rehide the cache as found. AND DON'T FORGET TO LOG IN HOW MANY TONKAS YOU SEE!!!!! This is part of the fun of this cache!
Your payment to me for my effort to put out quality caches is the log you write. I'd sure like to see more than just a TFTC. And favorite points make my day!
Enjoy! Keep on haulin', friends!
