The local Dog Scouts of America will be gathering to learn about Geocaching. Most of them don't know what it is. Come out and help me teach these newbies how it's done at 6:30pm on June 20th.
There will be a Geocaching 101 presentation on the basics along with what it takes to get a Level 1 Geocaching Merit Badge (Dog Scouts are like Boy Scouts for people who have dogs!). After the training, anyone who wants can get together to show the new people how to find a cache. Of course, if you are interested in the Dog Scouts of America, then you can take this opportunity to find out more about it. The focus of the meeting will be on caching, though. If you bring your dog, be sure to bring him or her on a non-expandable leash. Also, there are no chairs, so I recommend you bring a yard chair and a water and bowl for your dog, or a blanket or pad if your dog likes to have a cushy seat.
