A quick find with a scenic walk. Parking at the end of Watkins Road near the boat ramp, opposite the Wangi Caravan Park. There are other possibly faster access routes (park in Reserve Road and use small council access opposite) but we have suggested this longer path to reduce any risk of injury if trying to access from the cliff side. Please be aware that there are large drops in certain places along the edge. There are lots of places to stop and picnic along the way with the children. And if you take the waterside walk you may get wet feet in places, depending on the tide. We positioned this cache like the others, to suit those visiting the area in watercraft or enjoying the foreshore of Lake Macquarie. This cache also complements the long line of Team Wangi caches if you pack a picnic and make a day of walking or boating beside the lake. *FTF* Honours go to Marcus Vitruvius! Congratulations!!
