Geocache Description:

This is the starting area of one of Tierps best bike-highway, towards north-north-east. And in the other direction with links across "Övergången" towards the southern parts.

Cache: micro, magnetic, contains only pencil and logg. Easily accessible even in winter.

The "Tierp coat of arms"

"I rött en humlekvist med ax och två blad, allt av guld."

In august of 1456 the coat of arms: ”Three Hops Axt” was assigned to "Tierp Härad" as the official regional coat of arms, by King Karl Knutsson Bonde. "Tierpsvapnet" is the only swedish recognized "landskommunvapen" that have been bestowed by a swedish king.
