Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
Kaneyama is a beautiful town famous for its traditional buildings and waterways filled with carp.
There are cedar-covered mountains all around Kaneyama. This cache leads you to a good viewing point, stunning at any time of the year. In late November, the mountains in the distance are dusted with snow. During the spring and summer, there is lush greenery and wild flowers along the river.
If you keep going along Route 73, you'll see signs for the Green Valley Kamuro resort. In the winter, you can go skiing and snowboarding there, whilst in summer there is camping and tennis available. There's also a restaurant and pleasant onsen in Schönes Heim hotel.
The cache is a small plastic container. Please bring your own pen.
In winter (mid-December to April) there is heavy snowfall in this area. The cache may be unavailable during this time.
