Geocache Description:


This Geoart is part of a nationwide project;
THE USA 50 STATE STAR GEOART
celebrating every state in the USA !

Our Goal is to have a "50 STATE STAR" in each state of the USA.
Look for the states that proudly display the "STAR" !





This is a meet and greet event to celebrate the caches that will be published for the new Geoart. For anyone interested in searching out the new caches, we will have laptops and flash drives available with the GPX file containing coordinates and we can help load them onto your devices. This will be your earliest opportunity for access to the new cache coordinates. The event will take place between 8:00AM and 11:00AM, or until all who have logged "Will Attend" have come by.


At this event we will provide bottled water, light snacks, sunscreen, and instant ice packs for anyone who will be heading out later to tackle the geo-art.




The starting cache for the Geoart is a one hour drive from this location, and it will take approximately 3-5 hours to complete the entire series of 51 total caches. This series can not be driven, you will need to park near the first cache and walk from there. For the final challenge cache, you will be able to drive and there is parking nearby.

Some things to remember when doing this series

* This is the grasslands; home to many animals, wild and domestic. Including snakes and large birds. Please respect it.
* Prominent plants: Sage brush, cactus and yucca.
* This artwork has 51 caches.
* Make sure you have plenty of water and snacks, you will need to hike the series on foot approximately 7.5 miles.
* Plan on about 3-5 hours to find all 51 caches in this series.
* Colorado weather can change very quickly, please dress appropriately.
* Carry out what you take in. Don’t leave any trash behind.
* These are all letterbox hybrids very near the posted coordinates, all have a stamp to use. Please leave the stamp and bring your own ink pad and notebook.
* Cell coverage is weak at best, your results may vary.
* Most important of all --> Have fun! <--
