Who's a Good Dog? Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

JBTsWife: Since another nearby cache also got muggled, I'm thinking it's time to retire this location. Wishing everyone a good summer with all your good dogs.

Geocache Description:

"Heaven goes by favor. If it went by merit, you would stay out and your dog would go in.”― Mark Twain
“Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read.”― Groucho Marx

You can bring your dog to this cache and even take your dog into a nearby store that features dog treats and accessories for dogs (and cats.)  On Fridays every August, there's  an ice cream social for dogs in the nearby parking lot.

You're looking for a micro log set inside a dog toy which is set in a small camouflaged plastic container hidden in a crevice in a stone wall. You can park within 3 feet of the cache. The container has room for small trade items.

My GPS was jumping around a bit when I took the coordinates so I've added a giveaway hint to be sure this cache is easy to find.

There's an FTF prize for the FIRST DOG to visit the cache.

I thank the owners of the two nearby businesses for permission to use this cache site. We've heard there are occasionally bees in the rocky areas so if you are particularly sensitive to bees please be on the lookout.

(Though my husband, JBT, knows nothing about this cache, I have asked him to be disqualified from the FTF lest anyone think he had advance knowledge.)

Congratulations to mattressgnome for the FTF!!
