Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Cowpasture First State Bank Airport.  My two young boys and I love aviation. We like to attend airshows each year, and decided to place a few caches near airports, airparks and/or landing strips. Another cache in my aviation series and this is yet another landing strip that not a lot of people know about.  I had the pleasure of riding in a Cessna during a touch and go here, otherwise I may not have known this airstrip existed.

Unfortunately, the airport is no longer open as the new owners have placed white painted tires in the shape of an "X". *Looking for a small canister with log only. Enjoy!
