Cuban born artist Jose Bedia was commissioned by the Village Art in Public Places Board to desgn a number of colorful rustic terrazzo sidewalk plazas on Crandon Boulevard. Bedia's plazas depict a dragon fly, barracuda, manta ray, butterfly, anhinga bird, manatee, and pelican.
The cache can be reached from the sidewalk. It may not be visible but an attachment should be.
