Sittin' On The Levee Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

tyro-n-www: Checked today and the cache is obviously missing again. Archiving as I suspect someone in the neighborhood doesn’t like our activity.

Geocache Description:

A fairly easy micro for any veteran cacher. Not quite wheel chair accessible but close. Good views of the river as you walk by and I would suggest you walk, rather than drive, to this one.

You might not be able to see the "Robert E. Lee" from here as the song says, but you sure as heck will be on the levee and if you set a spell you might see some kayakers or canoeists paddle by. Keep in mind that Levee street ( wonder how they came up with that name?) is a one way street as far as vehicle traffic is concerned and you can only drive on it in a north to south directon. Also, there is really no place to park near the cache without blocking the street so I would suggest parking on a nearby street and walking a block or so to the cache. WWW told me she thinks this might just be my most attractive cache to date. No need to head down the bank into the foliage for this one. Have a seat and think about it. GZ is close to some residents back yards so I wouldn't recommend doing this at night or you might be explaining your activity to a local policeman. BYOP
