Geocache Description:

Explore Silver Island Mountain while you are in Wendover. There was a long stretch of dirt road with out any caches, we placed this cache to create a reason to stop and explore. We have added a bonus cache. When you find the cache you will find a compass course inside with directions in degrees and distance measured in feet. The second bonus cache would be considered a micro cache, small pencil and log papers.

The Lobster Claws are made up of some very interesting sedementary rock. There are some boulders mixed with some smaller sand size soil holding it all togeather. This is the type of formation that I wish I found when I was in Geology class, I bet you could write a 10 page essay on it's formation and life cycle.
