What you will need to hunt this cache: A GPS A friend at his/her computer with an internet connection. A mobile phone or set time when you will be at the cache site. A wristwatch How to find and claim this webcam virtual cache: Go to the webcams page, http://www.starcitymall.com/webcam/cam3.shtml, and sync your wristwatch to the java clock on the page. Now you will know within a few seconds when the webcam is going to take the next picture. Go to the coordinates of this cache. The coordinates get you in the area of the cache. They are not exact coordinates telling you where to stand. You, with the help of your friend, need to "hunt" for the cache. Call your friend and have them go to the webcams page at http://www.starcitymall.com/webcam/cam3.shtml Let them guide you on where to stand for the best picture then... Smile for the camera and wait for an update! The camera updates once every ten minutes. When your friend sees a good webcam picture, have them right click on the webcam picture and select save. Then send you the picture so that... Congratulations and do not forget to include the picture with you log entry! Found it! logs without proper pictures will be deleted. Don't log it until you have your picture ready for upload. Follow these instructions to hunt the cache without a partner. This cam only caches images for 24 hours. As it captures new images it overwrites the previous days image. Get an idea of where you need to stand by going to http://www.starcitymall.com/webcam/cam3.shtml. Also sync your wristwatch to the clock you see on the webpage. Now you will know within a few seconds when the webcam is going to take the next picture. Go to the coordinates and hunt for the area you saw in the camera. The camera updates once every ten minutes so hang out for a little bit to make sure you get a good shot if yourself. Take note of what time you were at the webcam and do not forget this! When you get home type in the URL http://www.starcitymall.com/images/cam3-XXXX.jpg and subsitute XXXX in cam3-XXXX.jpg for the four digit 24 hour time that you were at the cache. For example if you were at the cache at 3:10am you would put cam3-0310.jpg, or if you were at the cache at 3:10pm you would put cam3-1510.jpg. Congratulations and do not forget to include the picture with you log entry! Found it! logs without proper pictures will be deleted. Don't log it until you have your picture ready for upload.
