This is a quiet rural section 50 metres beyond the boundary of Worcester City and just inside the Parish of Hallow.
You'll have to make an effort to reach this cache since the nearest road is an 800 metre walk away on public footpaths.
Walking North takes you past Hallow Village, where good pubs are to be found, walking South takes you towards Worcester.
Here's another simple cache to break your journey!
If you are lucky and quiet you might see kingfishers. We have seen grass snakes swimming in the river here in summer. Some have even seen otters nearby, and in November 2012 a Common Seal!
You may also see rowers and canoeists coming from Worcester. You might also catch the very busy farm workers in this very productive arable area.
Take care if the Severn is in flood - you might not even be able to approach it if that's the case.
The cache is in a white cylindrical container about twice as big as a 35mm film canister. It's on the non-river side of the path.
Please be very careful to return this one so that it is "naturally" concealed in the holding device that keeps it from easy detection by non-geocachers!
