Geocache Description:


St Marys Church, Lambourn Woodlands is a redundant Anglican church that is now in the care of the Churhes Conservation Trust.



St Marys was completed in 1852 by the architect Thomas Talbot Bury in the Gothic Revival style. The church is constructed of flint with stone dressings under a slate roof. It is of a simple plan, consisting of a chancel, nave and north aisle. The church also has an octagonal turret-belfrey and spire.

Parking is in a layby on the B4000 Ermin Street alongside the church. Ermin Street has a 50mph limit and is extremely busy so please take care, especially if you have dogs and/or young ones in tow.

At the published coordinates you need to find the grave of Private Choules. His service number is ABCDE.
