Placing this geo in honor of my friend's daughter Sandi, who turned ten on 6/12/2013
I felt Farmington needed another geo cache so here it is! This is my first geo to place, and fairly simple, but I've got ideas for more!
At one point this area had a bridge that was the only way in and out of downtown Farmington. Two one way streets one above and one below would be the way you would have to travel (Mill Street being the way out of town, Railroad Street being the way in.) A few years ago however the great state of West Virginia decided to build us a *gasp* brand new bridge and included *yet another gasp* our very own stop light. /cheer!!
You can either approach from the "old way" that the old bridge had to be traveled (left on Mill Street, exit by way of Railroad Street) or park on the route 250 side at the nearby gas station and take the walk across the Sam Huff foot bridge. Coordinates on the map are showing the cache is on the south side of the creek, but in fact, the cache is on the north side on the old tracks. Hill side of tracks not the creek side. Gratz to Geno172 for the FTF!
