Geocache Description:


Welcome to Plains, Trains and Automobiles. A cache to pay homage to 3 of my favorite ways to move. 

This is a 4 stage multi that will take you around the historic Ballarat Airport as well as some cool locations hidden within. The sites are accessable 24 hours a day and do not require entry into any private land. 

At the beginning coordinates you will find yourself in front of a map of the Ballarat Airport. Answer the following: 
  • The second digit of the Building number of the Ballarat Scenic Cyclists = A
  • Building Number of the Ballarat 4WD Club take away 6 = BC
  • The building number of the Non Directional Radio Beacon (minus the letter) = D
  • The building number of the Ballarat Solar Park + 2 = EF
​Coordinates for WP2 = S37 31.ABC E143 47.DEF

At WP2 you should find youself near something that controls Trains! Look carefully on the name plate and answer the following:
  • How many V's on this sign = G
  • How many letters in the second word = H
  • Number of T's multiplied by the Number of E's = I
  • Number of S's multiplied by the number of letters in the first line of text = JK
  • How many N's on this sign = L
Coordinates for WP3 = S37 31.GHI E143 47.JKL

At WP3 you will find yourself near the Light Auto Club Race Track. There are several signs on the building near here. You only need to look at the sign with the Auto Clubs Logo on it. 
  • How many Z's on this sign = M
  • How many letters in the first word = N
  • How many pillars on the steering wheel = O
  • How many X's on the sign = P
  • How many lines of text = Q
  • How many on this sign start with the letter C = R
