Those people who know the film QUADROPHENIA will recognise the alley just East of the cache GZ. If you don't know the movie why not watch it and find out.
This cache was moved on 3rd September 2013 because it kept going missing. It is no longer “Inside” Quadrophenia Alley. Instead it is hidden near the western exit of the Alley.
Although reception is better here than inside the Alley your GPS will still misbehave at GZ because of all the buildings. I can assure cachers that the co-ords are good, but your GPS may claim they are not
If you want to see “that place” where Steph and Jimmy were filmed for Quadrophenia go East a few yards from the location of the cache between the Cottage and the Indian restaurant. The Alley goes through to East street and is rather narrow, and can be stinky. Sometimes you will find Quadrophenia related graffiti scrawled on the walls.

The Cache has a wire loop on the base and lid to make it more easy to retrieve from its hiding place. Please be sure to replace it only a very short way in to where it hides with the lid upwards and the stronger loop hanging downwards so the next person can get it. Now there is a loop at both ends it should be retrievable even if put back upside down, but please please please don't push it too far in. ta.
