Stopping by these places ... I wonder, who were these people? what was their life like?  

I found an epitaph in a New England cemetery once that really touched me ...from the tombstone of Dr. Samuel Jennings, died 1886,
No flattering marble lures the traveler here
This spot is sacred to affections dear.
He was in life what mortal men pretend
Companion, Parent, Neighbor, Christian Friend.

Places like these invite me to put life into perspective.  People today are too busy. We need to take time now to be with those we love, with our friends and family. We need to stop and reflect. Make the most of each day for one day we will all have to join them.

And after signing the log and replacing the cache, stop a minute and reflect ... how do I want to be remembered?
