South Philadelphia's Hicks Street hidden garden cache. Open April - October.
Open April - October, closed winter and inclement weather days. In a secret garden hidden from the eyes of any except those who know it's there are those who happened upon it suddenly, there lies a cache. While you are there, enjoy the garden's refreshing shade and relax in the patio under the flower-draping vines. If you care to get to know the neighbors in the neighborhood they will almost assuredly oblige pleasantly to say hello to you from their front porch stoops. Nearby at the end of the block is a popular bar and Restaurant, on the other end of the block is locally loved authentic Indonesian cuisine, and right around the corner is a quaint and delicious coffee house.
