CESKY : Spousta příjemných hotelu lezi na prekrasne plazi severne od mesta Mahdia, coz je stredne velke a docela oblibene mesto v centralni casti Tunisu, tedy v Sahelu, ktere lezi jizne od Monastiru. Z mezinarodniho letiste sem trva cesta autobusem necelou hodinu, jezdi sem i vlak, nazyvany Metro.
Atmosferou se Mahdia podoba Monastiru a trochu Sousse. Pobrezi obklopuji moderni hotely a je zde relativne ciste more. V Mahdii stoji za videni typicka brana Skifa Kahla a kousek dal, na spicce mysu, turecka pevnost ze 16. stoleti zvana Borj Mahdia. Pevnost stoji na poloostrove a stare mesto na trojúhelniku zeme, ktery k poloostrovu vede. Jizne od stareho mesta je stary rybarsky pristav.
Mahdia se proslavila nalezem potopene recke lodi s nakladem mnohych umeleckych predmetů, dnes ulozenych v muzeu Bardo. Mesto bylo původne fenickym, pozdeji rimskym pristavem, nazyvanym Cap Afrique, ktery v 7. stoleti znicili Arabove. Obnoveno bylo o tri stoleti pozdeji, kdy se sem z Kairouanu uchylil fatimovsky kalif. Dnes je jednim z nejdůlezitejsich tuniskych pristavů. Turisticky zajimava cast mesta se skryva za zajimavou branou do pevnosti Skiffa El-Kahla, jednoho ze vstupů z noveho mesta do Mediny.
Kes je ulozena primo u hotelu na hlavni silnici, pobliz policejni stanice, proto buďte pri odlovu velmi obezretni. Kes dejte prosim opet na stejne vyvysene misto, aby ji voda pri desti nezmacela. Pokud bude plny logbook, prosim umistete do kesky nahradni.
ENGLISH :Many pleasant hotels lies on a beautiful beach in the north of the Mahdia City, which is a middle-sized and quite popular city in the central part of Tunesia in Sahel, which lies southwards from Monastir. The trip by bus from the international airport takes less than an hour, there is also a train called Metro.
The atmosphere is very similar to the one in Monastir and a little bit to Sousse. The coastline is surrounded by modern hotels and the sea here is relatively clean. In Mahdia the typical gate Skifa Kahla is worth-seeing and a little bit further, on the top of the cape, there is a Turkish bastille from the 16th century called Borj Mahdia. The bastille is placed on a peninsula and the old city on a land triangle, which leads to the peninsula. Southwards from the city is an old fishermen harbor.
Mahdia became famous by the discovery of a sunken Greek ship, which has been loaded with many art objects, which are stored in the Bardo museum nowadays. The city was originally a Phoenician, later a Roman harbor (Phoenician and Roman harbor Cap Afrique), which has been destroyed by the Arabians in the 7th century. It has been renewed three centuries later, when the Fatima caliph has moved here from Kairouan. Nowadays it is one of the most important Tunisian harbors. The part of the city, which is popular among the tourists, hides behind the interesting gate of the bastille Skiffa El-Kahla, which is one of the entrances from the new city into Medina.
The cache is hidden directly by the hotel on the main road, close to the police station, so please be very careful when hunting it. Please place the cache back on the same elevated place, so that the water during rain doesn’t make it wet.
When the logbook is full, please put a new one into the cache.
DEUTSCH : Viele schöne Hotels befindet sich auf dem wunderschönen Strand nördlich von der Stadt Mahdia, einer mittelgroßen und ziemlich beliebten Stadt in Zentraltunesien, also in Sahel, die südlich von Monastir liegt. Die Fahrt mit dem Bus vom internationalen Flughafen hierher dauert eine knappe Stunde, es fährt auch der Zug, der Metro genannt wird, hierher.
Die Atmosphäre ist sehr ähnlich wie in Monastir und ein bisschen wie in Sousse. Die Küste ist von modernen Hotels umgeben und das Meer hier ist relativ rein. In Mahdia ist es wert, das typische Tor Skifa Kahla zu sehen, und ein bisschen weiter, an der Spitze des Kaps, eine türkische Festung vom 16. Jahrhundert namens Borj Mahdia. Die Festung steht auf einer Halbinseln und die alte Fischerstadt auf dem Dreieck der Erde, die zur Halbinsel führt. Südlich von der Altstadt befindet sich ein alter Fischerhafen.
Mahdia ist durch den Fund des gesunkenen griechischen Schiffes mit der Ladung etwaiger Kunstgegenstände bekannt geworden, die heute im Bardo Museum gelagert werden. Die Stadt war ursprünglich ein phönizischer, später ein romanischer Hafen (phönizischer und römischer Hafen Cap Afrique), der im 7. Jahrhundert von den Arabern zerstört wurde. Sie wurde drei Jahrhunderte später erneuert, als der Fatimakalif aus Kairouan hierhergekommen ist. Heute handelt es sich um einen der wichtigsten tunesischen Häfen. Der touristisch interessantere Teil der Stadt versteckt sich hinter dem interessanten Tor in die Festung Skiffa El-Kahla, einem der Eingänge aus der Neustadt in Medina.
Die Cache befindet sich beim Hotel auf der Hauptstraße, in der Nähe der Polizeistation, seien Sie also bitte beim Suchen sehr vorsichtig. Bitte platzieren Sie die Cache wieder zurück auf die höhergelegene Stelle, damit sie vom Wasser beim Regen nicht durchnässt wird.
Falls das Logbook voll sein wird, geben Sie bitte ein neues in die Cache.
