Welcome to Ashcroft: Where Geocaches Await You! We invite you to enjoy our small town on this weekend for a casual Meet and Greet! Whether your just starting out or are an experienced cacher we welcome you to chit chat with fellow cachers to enjoy each others stories! We will be hosting a short 101 Geocaching Basics for all new cachers who are interested in partaking. Today we will also release 25 new caches in our small little area to compliment the current crop of caches in the area from personal caches to the favorite Gold Country series! This event will start at 9am with everyone meeting by the Community Futures Sun Country building beside the Interior Savings Credit Union. At 10am, we will have a few computers ready to load GPS units with the cache file (please bring your cables!) or have the option of getting a single sheet of paper with all the coordinates and a few details for each cache and off you go! This will also be when the 101 Geocaching Basics will be offered. Cachers are also welcome to meet up for Lunch at Shelly's Restaurant on Railway Ave at 1:00pm for a bite to eat or a nice cold drink! So come...cache...and enjoy Ashcroft for all it has to offer!
