Zapraszam do odwiedzenia Alei Zasłużonych Ludzi Morza w Rewie. Znajdują się tu symboliczne tablice wspominające ludzi, którzy odeszli NA WIECZNĄ WACHTĘ. Współrzędne startowe wskazują na krzyż ustawiony u nasady Rewy (zwanej też, z kaszubska, Szperkiem). Łatwy nano-kesz offsetowy jest do podjęcia w bezpośredniej okolicy n-tej latarni (nie morskiej) licząc od krzyża, gdzie 'n' jest liczbą tablic odsłoniętych w roku 2004. Warunkiem niekoniecznym (aczkolwiek wielce pożądanym) zaliczenia kesza jest wspomnienie jednego człowieka morza, który już udał się na wieczną wachtę.
Ja, ze swojej strony chciałbym wspomnieć Janusza Sikorskiego, współzałożyciela zespołu szantowego Stare Dzwony, dziennikarza i propagatora tradycji morskich. Ze łzą w oku wspominam Jego audycje, prowadzone wspólnie z Markiem Szurawskim, w Rozgłośni Harcerskiej w czasach mojej młodości oraz piękne i mądre ballady. Zawsze w niedzielę o jedenastej leciał w Czwórce "Kliper Siedmiu Mórz", mało tych "Kliprów" przegapiłem. Jak Oni pięknie opowiadali... Pewnie wszystkim, nie tylko żeglarzom, jest znany klasyk żeglarskiej pieśni pt. "Pożegnanie Liverpoolu". Zawsze audycja zaczynała się tą melodią, a Autorzy audycji przyjęli pseudonimy wzięte wprost z tekstu; jeden nazywał się Burgess, drugi Piekło {sic!}. Ach, wspomnienia! To dzięki Januszowi zakochałem się w morzu.

FOR THOSE AT SEA!
I invite all of you to visit a 'Hall of Fame of the People devoted to Sea' in Rewa. You wil find some memorial plaques commemorating people who were called to keep the Eternal Watch. Starting co-ordinates point at the base of the Bar (Rewa, which is also the name of the village, or in Kashubian language - Szperk). An easy off-set nano-cache can be found in immediate vicinity of the n-th lamp post (not a lighthouse:)) counting from the cross, where 'n' is the number of plaques 'planted' in 2004. Additional condition to log the cache (unnecessary, but highly desirable) is to name/commemorate a person, who has gone to Hilo (to those not familiar with sailor's terminology Hilo is a sailor's paradise, at least in shanties).
As for me, I'd like to bring Mr Janusz Sikorski's name, co-founder of a band called Stare Dzwony (the Old Bells), a journalist and promoter of maritime traditions. With great nostalgia I recall his radio programs broadcast at Polish Radio Ch 4 (known at that time as Scouts' Radio) conducted jointly with Marek Szurawski and also his beautiful ballads. Every Sunday at eleven my radio was tuned for "Clipper of the Seven Seas", I missed but a few. They used to tell the tale, sailor's tale sooo passionately... Everyone, not just sailors, knows a song "The Leaving of Liverpool". It started the program each Sunday, and the authors nicknamed themselves after the main characters of the song, one of them was {Captain} Burgess, the other was called Hell {sic!}. Ah, the memories! Definitely it was Janusz who made me fall in love with the sea. And it's still the case.
