I - 17 TRAVELER Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

SEEMORE4X4:
Went to check on this cache today and I also found it to be missing in action. I'm not sure why it would be missing or why someone would take or get rid of it. Anyway, I am going to archive this cache. This is a cache that I had taken over from Puz-zel so many years ago and it has had a real good run. Thanks to everyone that found it and even those that didn't.

Geocache Description:

Easy OFF; Easy ON; Easy FIND.

A Puz-Zel "Shoe Box" cache at el. 5,472'
NOTE: The original box finally had to be replaced as the top finally gave out. The new box is a little stout one that will not quite hold what the old one did. Take a driving break. Stretch your legs. Breathe in some nice fresh mountain air. Get back in the car refreshed....

Park at: N 34 45.682, W 111 38.687, just off the Stoneman Lake Road. (It's OK for cars.) Cache is less than 100 paces from the parking spot.

Sorry for the trash. Guess some folks are just messy pigs! I picked up a bag full. Maybe us GeoCachers can clean this place up....

NOTE: Topo map is REALLY old & not accurate as to newer roads. Don't let this fool you. Your GPS will show you the way. (Sat photo is accurate - if you read aerial photos.) Good hunting!!!
