Why is this road here??? What purpose does it serve???
Have you ever been out and about just enjoying the day. Then you come across something that you have to scratch your head and ask, Why is this here?? We are always traveling somewhere and everytime it seems we find an item that fits this question. Today is no exception. While out caching, we came across one that we have no answer for it. It was a well paved road that ended in a turnabout. It was complete with street lights and fire hydrants. The only thing is there is absolutely nothing there that this road would go too. It does have a turnoff but ends in a turnaround. No other construction is visible. So it begs to ask the question, Why Is This Here???? If you have an idea of why it is here please post it in your log.
As we pulled in to marvel at this phenomenom, I had to place a cache here. With this cache now we have given this road a purpose. It is to get you to our cache. It's a camoed pill bottle just hanging out. You can only access this road going South on Highway 41 heading to Lake Park from Valdosta. If you are going North, you just have to pass this by and do a U-turn to get back to the turnoff. The cache is not on the pole. Have a good time finding it!!!
