Do Unto Others 3: scenic highway
is the third in an occasional series of caches that is the sort of cache I'd like to do and wish you would place for me to find. In this case it is: "a six part multi, using unique micros matching the setting and with location hints that take you on a walk through the woods and by the water". I hope you have as much fun finding it as I did making and placing it. Both the terrain and the stages elevate as you go along (location hint #1). All the placements are on trees, mostly broken ones, and in plain sight from the ground (location hint #2). The area is a maze of trails but the cache route mostly sticks to the main ones, sometimes SAP is considerably shorter: all the stages are within 50 feet (most much closer) of the trail (location hint #3).
Updated 3/31/25 All the stages have been renewed and replaced and the hints updated to reflect gravity's effect on trees (stage 5 is still up there though). The final gets you grounded again. This cache is designed to be fun, not tough, so the d/t rating reflects that there are 6 stages to find and some climbing involved. And the elevation changes from stage to stage. It's less than three mile round trip. I hope you like it and enjoy the view and the breeze.

PS: Unlike most of my multis, this one leaves you about a 20 minute walk from the start. There are many side trails in the area to check out, however; so why not bring along that cache container you have lying around and do a little exploration and place a cache on the way back? Remember the 0.1m rule... 3/31/25 Well, a dozen years later and only the dirt bikers have been active. No one has taken up the Do Unto Other's Challenge of placing caches nearby and/or of similar style. The trails here have now become dominated by the maze of bike trails with the old woods roads gradually fading and filling. Feel free to bushwhack the more direct route as you wish, but all stages are within 50 feet of a trail eventually.
