Geocache Description:

Saturday 6-29-13 from 3-5pm. A float from one launch down stream about 5.5 miles through several large reservations including Broadmoore(audubon), Peters (trustees) resevation and the legendary: Rocky Narrows of the charles. An easy float with plenty of width and few if any hazards. A car pool may be arranged prior to event.

A watercraft is needed, the pace is slow. The upper charles river s.w. of boston Ma. is quite clear and lovely. Please join us for a gentle float down stream. Expect blue Heron, Redwing Black birds and a whale of a time. Coolers encouraged and the take out is a picnic grove at town park. ----Optional :prefloat(2pm) drop off and shuttle. You could drop off boats and gear upstream (rt27 launch medfield) drive to pleasant st Natick take out, all pile into one vehicle while we babysit your gear, and return to rt27 to start. This leaves you paddling down stream to your ride and end.
