The "lil white church" cache is named after the Old Howes Mill Church near this cache. Growing up in farm house close by we use to collect these nuts from this tree. The "Aesculus glabra" is a relative of the chestnut and the horse-chestnut.
Told by my father, that if we kept these nuts in our pockets it is a "lucky piece." or this nut is thought by many people to be a preventive of rheumatism, arthritis, or headaches.
This is a short drive or walk on gravel road off 32 hwy. "PawPaw Bill" keeps the grass cut here. Sometimes,the lil creek close by is up. Small pill bottle. Should be an easy park and grab.
