Der Flugplatz Neu-Anspach/Wehrheim mag unscheinbar sein und "nur" eine Graspiste haben, doch an guten Tagen finden hier Hunderte Flugbewegungen statt! Der ansässige Verein betreibt Motor- und Segelflug, fast dreihundert Mitglieder gehen von Anfang April bis Ende Oktober jedes Wochenende in die Luft. Grund genug, dass auch jede Menge Besucher mit dem Auto, mit dem Fahrrad oder zu Fuß zum Flugplatz kommen und sich das Treiben anschauen. Für manchen ist so auch die Leidenschaft eines Lebens geboren worden!
In der Flugplatzkantine wird während der Saison Samstags und Sonntags gekocht. Das mit Preisen zwischen drei und fünf Euro sehr günstige Essen ist nicht nur für Vereinsmitglieder, auch Besucher werden gerne bekocht. Treffpunkt ist zum Mittagessen am

The airfield Neu-Anspach/Wehrheim may only have a grass runway that blends in with the surrounding landscape, but on good days there are hundreds of takeoffs and landings here! The local flying club has engine-driven airplanes as well as gliders and almost three hundred members take to the air every weekend from April to October. Reason enough for many visitors to come by car, bike or foot to watch the spectacle. For some, it was the beginning of a lifelong adventure in aviation.
In the airport restaurant, food is prepared during flying season on Saturdays and Sundays. The inexpensive food is not only for club members, visitors are always welcome. We will meet for lunch on
