Geocache Description:

Here is an old school unknown type cache.  You have to solve a logic puzzle to determine the coordinates.  The actual hide is a regular sized cache in the gamelands, hidden in a common fashion - nothing devious about the hide.

NOTE: SINCE THIS CACHE IS IN THE GAMELANDS BE SURE TO WEAR ORANGE DURING HUNTING SEASONS.

The coordinates above are for parking. You need to solve the puzzle to find the coordinates for the cache.

In a town there are five house in a row along one of the streets.  The house numbers are 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 starting from the left and moving to the right as you face them.
Each house is a different color (Blue, Green, Ivory, Red and Yellow).
Each house is occupied by a person with a different nationality (English, Japanese, Norwegian, Spanish and Ukrainian).
The occupants each have a different favorite beverage (Coffee, Milk, Orange juice, Tea and Water).
The occupants each have a different pet (Dog, Fox, Horse, Snails and Zebra).
Each occupant smokes a different brand of cigarette (Chesterfield, Kools, Lucky Strike, Old Gold and Parliament).

(Note the old school cigarettes to match the theme of the cache.  This has nothing to do with the puzzle, just an interesting tidbit)

Now for the clues:

  1. There are five houses.

  2. The Englishman lives in the red house.

  3. The Spaniard owns the dog.

  4. Coffee is drunk in the green house.

  5. The Ukrainian drinks tea.

  6. The green house is immediately to the right of the ivory house.

  7. The Old Gold smoker owns snails.

  8. Kools are smoked in the yellow house.

  9. Milk is drunk in the middle house.

  10. The Norwegian lives in the first house.

  11. The man who smokes Chesterfields lives in a house next to the man with the fox.

  12. Kools are smoked in a house next to the house where the horse is kept.

  13. The Lucky Strike smoker drinks orange juice.

  14. The Japanese smokes Parliaments.

  15. The Norwegian lives next to the blue house.

Which house does the ZEBRA live in?

After you determine which house the zebra lives in, here is how you determine the coordinates for the final:

N 42 05.ABC
W 079 47.CDE

A = The number of letters in the beverage that is drunk at the house the zebra lives in.
B = The number of e's in the name of the cigarette that is smoked at the house the zebra lives in
C = The house number that is directly to the left of the house the zebra lives in
D = The house number that is furthest away from the zebra minus 1
E = The sum of the number of letters in the pet and the cigarettes at the house that is furthest away from the zebra

This is not a simple puzzle.  The difficulty rating of the cache reflects the difficulty of the puzzle.  The hide itself is pretty straight forward.  Please be sure that the container is well hidden when you leave.  You will understand the need for this when you find it.

NOTE: PEOPLE HAVE REPORTED THAT THE COORDINATES MAY BE A LITTLE OFF ON THIS ONE. i JUST TOOK A NEW SET OF COORDINATES. AFTER YOU SOLVE THE PUZZLE, TRY SUBTRACTING .006 FROM THE NORTH COORDINATES AND .008 FROM THE WEST COORDINATES IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE FINDING THE CACHE.
