Geocache Description:

One of the lovely areas of Swan Lake.  Lots of back forestry roads to explore here!

Please bring your own pen. Because of the tree cover, my GPS was bouncing around a bit and couldn't get a reading closer than 20 feet.

Can drive to this cache, and it is near the road, but hidden.  You may not be able to get here with snow.  We traveled a few of these roads until we couldn't go anymore.  Lovely area.  There is a small lake up to the left that might make a good picnic spot.  On another road we saw at least 6 piles of bear scat, so please be prepared if you do any hiking.  We saw deer and elk, and lots of birds.  There is also beargrass, indian paintbrush, sunflowers, and lots of other wildflowers in June.  Have fun, and welcome to Montana!

There is no internet here, and I could text with roaming but no phone service.  If you decide to keep going, you may want to bring a forestry map to be safe!
