Geocache Description:

11-7-20 Update:  The dam has been complete for awhile now, but they just recently finsihed the other work around the area. Take some time to check out the new lake and the observation platform.

=====

This cache brings you back to the Brand New Little Falls Dam area of Willow River State Park. For those that visited the original, you'll note there is a new shelter constructed near the former cache location. Plus, a brand new dam! Take some time to walk out on the observation platform and check out the lake and the river.

Located in a nice picnic and fishing area on Little Falls lake – bring your fishing pole and a cooler and enjoy this lovely area. Located at the end of the main park road. You’ll need a daily or yearly park sticker to enter Willow River State Park – the staff at the entrance will be glad to help out (or use the self-service area if no one is available). A regular-size container awaits. Once you find the cache take a few minutes and walk over to the dam and the nice observation area. It offers up a nice view of the lake, spillway, and the Willow River as it flows towards the St. Croix River.
