Geocache Description:

If you don't get wet doing this cache, then you will never find it.  With that being said there are two factors to consider when seeking this cache.  Temperature will be your first consideration.  This cache will not be accessible in winter or cold weather.  The other is flow.  Several times a year the creek will rise enough to make accessing the cache impossible and quite frankly, dangerous. So please use your head and try to plan your visit accordingly.

Park at given coords.  Little bit of bushwhacking will get you to the edge of the remains of the old dam in Bovard.  Hope you remembered your shorts and creek walking shoes.  The cache log is in two containers so that it hopefully remains  watertight.  It is in an aluminum bison which is sealed inside a match container.  This in turn is secured to a large piece of iron for weight so that the cache will not become dislodged during flooding.  It is not necessary to remove the copper wire to access the cache so please leave all peices of the cache connected and replace just as you found it to prevent mugggling and also loss due to high water.  All you get after that is a couple spoiler images so you know what to feel around for and a set of good coordinates.  Stop back any time you want to cool off on a hot day. Good luck.
