Geocache Description:

Meet and greet and sight see an officially historical site, and maybe an unofficial historical site too.

A meet and greet and sight see event nominally starting at the Horseshoe Bend public boat ramp. You may of course choose to go directly to the bridge(s).

Please upload lots of pictures, with you in them too if possible, when logging this event.

Who knew there is a national historic place only a mile or so from Eagle Rock?!

One place, Phoenix Bridge over Craig Creek, is official. The other, a similar bridge over the James River, is not. One now carries cars. The other is idle. Both carried trains once upon a time.
