Easy to find cache at (you guessed it) mile marker 36. Park on the opposite side of the road on the shoulder, or to the west near the stop sign. Here's the story: Nogs has placed a series of caches along the scenic highway, most of them at the mile post markers. He placed one here over a year ago, but never got around to activating the cache. When I saw him at the GEOoregon meetings, I would ask him if he would activate the cache soon, so I could sign the log. This happened quite a few times, and the last time I brought it up, I told him the next time I am out that way, I was going to claim the spot as my own! That day has arrived...MoonPieGina and I were on a motorcycle ride and I had a replacement container ready to go. But, I liked his log sheet better than mine, so I guess this is a hybrid cache of sorts. There were a few signatures on the log, but unfortuneately they don't count, since the original cache was never activated. Who will be the FTF? Have fun and please, be safe.
