Geocache Description:

**My thanks to Dair Mor for locating this wonderful spot and installing the cache. It is a privilege to be able to look after it** - RannochRob

A short walk over damp ground to a small waterfall nestled under the dappled shade of trees.

Follow the track beside the fall and see if you can locate the ancient settlement on the top of the hill. For more information visit <<https://megalithix.wordpress.com/2012/09/30/allt-leathan-enclosure/.>>

It was once commonly believed that fairies, ghost-dogs and strange creatures roamed Rannoch moor or lived beneath the black waters. Even in the 20th century, many people passing Schiehallion – the "Fairy Hill of the Caledonians" at the eastern end of the moor - reported being followed by a dog-like shadow that seemed to materialise from nowhere
