Geocache Description:

Your looking for a camoed peanutbutter jar in the woods.
There is a collapsable cup for the FTF cacher

As a descendant of the Copeland name, I thought it would be fitting to place a cache here in Copeland Forest. The short time we were in the forest we saw that it can be beautiful and dangerous at the same time. The Copelands of my family have always loved the outdoors and are thrilled that there is a forest sharing the name. Though I have not found anymore history on the forest I am lookinf forward to learning more about the forest, Charles Moore Copeland (who has a hall named after him in nearby Geneva Park) and our Copeland name to see if there is a connection between the three. If any fellow cacher has any history of Copeland Forest feel free to send me a message it would be greatly appreciated. Have fun, be safe and watch the mosquitos they will carry you away.
