Geocache Description:

Geocache placed on Father's day near Blanket Creek campground

This Geocache is located and is accessed from Blanket Creek Provincial park campground. The park encompasses a farming area known as the old “Domke homestead” and the remnants of this heritage farm and its wide array of trees, both native and imported, are reminders of the pioneer orchardists who first homesteaded the area in the late 1940’s. The park was established in 1982 after the reservoir was made, to provide recreational opportunities for local residents.

Enjoy the scenery and local fauna surrounding you as you travel along the nature trail to find this geocache, which is a plastic peanut butter jar decorated with Skull and Crossbone duct tape and is within sight of the water. It's located off of the trail, but is easily accessible, and not in the first obvious place you'll see as you arrive at the coordinates.
