Geocache Description:

What: A brief lesson on stream processes / ecology
When: ~6pm and shouldn't last more than an hour
Where: Rock in the parking lot off Rt. 43 (see below)

While I never had the privilege of meeting Cap'n Jack, in my other life I teach an introductory geology lab to college students... my goal is to offer an overview of the underlying geology and physical processes that cause the bends and turns of the James River in this area.
