Geocache Description:

I spent my childhood walking around the Grootkop / Spekkop area. When i saw there were no caches here i seized the oppertunity. Please note the area is protected. The signs at the entrence are in pretty bad condition but they are basically saying no 4x4 or motorcycles allowed. Be prepared to walk up a steep hill. The view from the top will be worth the walk. From Grootkop / Spekkop one can see the Swartberg to the North, Oudtshoorn to the West and the Outeniqua mountains to the South. Enjoy.
