Turopoljske ljepotice, drvene kapelice, jedinstvene su u svijetu po načinu gradnje i po svojoj ljepoti. Njihovo postojanje seže još u rani srednji vijek, no većina sačuvanih datira iz 17. stoljeća. Gradili su ih palirski i tesarski majstori i njihove družbe od hrastovih greda, većinom iz Turopoljskog luga. Krovovi su prekriveni hrastovim pločicama (šindrom). Na širem području koje obuhvaća i Pokuplje i Posavinu do danas je sačuvano više tih kapelica. Svaka za sebe je reprezentativni primjerak turopoljske pučke drvene graditeljske baštine.Uvjereni smo da će vas oduševiti svojom arhitektonskom jednostavnošću i originalnošću, te mnoštvom rustičnih detalja koji svjedoče o umjetničkim sposobnostima pučkih majstora i tesarskih družbi Turopolja. U većinu kapela, impresivnih, manje ili više oslikanih interijera, moguće je ući (ključ je obično kod mještana – zvonara koji vam mogu otvoriti).

Biser barokne ruralne sakralne arhitekture sačuvane u izvornom građevinskom obliku iz 17. stoljeća (1634.). Unutrašnjost je u potpunosti oslikana. Građena je od hrastovih planjki na kamenim temeljima kao mala pravokutna građevina trostranog završetka s vezom greda u njemački ugao. Prozori su zatvoreni valvama koje se otvaraju prema dolje.
Oltar je postavljen 1743. godine. Tada je obnovljen i tabulat te probijen koritasti svod zbog novog oltarnog retabla. Na oltaru je slika sv. Martina te kipovi sv. Ambrozija i sv. Nikole. Iste je godine kapela novo oslikana, a danas sačuvani motivi na kasetama potječu iz tog doba što dokazuju akant (tratorak) te simetrični vrpčasti prepleti s kojih vise ruže, tulipani i grozdovi. Pod kapele je pokriven 1744. godine velikim rimskim opekama, a u jednu je urezana godina 1774.
