Geocache Description:

Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center

Tupperware container hidden in the features of the landscape. Located in the general vicinity of two old rock quarries. Trail map available at the Nature Center. There is an entrance fee. This particular location is not on the general trail map. You have to ask for the "other" map. This area is on the north side of Pequotsepos Road. The area has some neat old rough stone bridges and a couple of new wooden ones over Pequotsepos Brook.

The DPNC is a small private member supported nonprofit environmental education center. It has a great little museum with recently updated exhibits. Live owls in the back. Ten miles of trails on 200 acres. The landscape is mixed decidous and conifer forest, several small ponds, a couple of streams and large metamorphic bedrock rock piles emerging across the landscape.
