A short walk to a beautiful green gorge hidden in the Campsies.
This is such a lush, green, narrow gorge that we felt others deserved to see it. You’ll be walking in a shallow river, or if there hasn’t been much rain you might be lucky and be able to use some stepping stones. Regardless, it’s wet and slippy, so wellies or walking boots are a must - just take care on the rocks.
Walking upstream is the most enjoyable way of tackling this one, so enter the gorge at its south-west end. It goes without saying that you shouldn’t even consider dropping into it from above, and don't go near the edge when you're above it!!!
