Located on the banks of Christmas Creek, Stinson Park is a lovely spot to relax for the day or to camp over. Picnic tables, toilets, electric BBQs and creek water are provided.

We have stayed here a few times as a base for tackling some of the more challenging caches in the area. So it seems plain daft that there was no cache here. We asked Peter the caretaker and he said yes - so here it is. This park was actually the base of operations for the famous Stinson Crash rescue operation back in 1937. The cache is a small systema container and won't be too hard to find.
