Geocache Description:

The humpy or pink salmon are the  most numerous salmon. The run up the Skagit River can exceed 2 million fish. This is a fish anyone can catch. The meat is poor quality once they enter the river. I only catch and release and I consider it a bad day if I catch less than 25 and once caught over 50 in one day casting a spoon in the river. The  humpies run in odd years here in WA but run yearly in Alaska. The record humpy weighed 15.4 pounds and was caught in the Stillaguamish River.
