Geocache Description:


Last year I took my oldest on his first camping trip. We did not travel far - just found a place to park off the highway and looked for a sheltered spot to set up camp. We have visited it many times since and decided that a cache here would be wonderful. Thus was born "The Haunted Woods".
 
Unfortunately the original camping spot (and original cache) was clear cut during the winter so the cache had to be moved. We decided to place it close to the a path that goes right by a new beaver dam in the area. In addition to the beavers, there are still lots of frogs and the occasional moose to be seen, as well as a great spot for a quick swim, small fire, and even a ideal spot to launch a canoe. Check it out. We hope that you enjoy it there half as much as we do.
