Please join us for a relaxing morning on the water at Eagle Creek Park. I have recently gotten hooked on kayaking!!! What better way to spend a couple hours - on the water and visit with friends, old and new!!
We will meet at The Eagle Creek Boat Ramp at 4185 Dandy Trail at 9:00am (Right down from Rick's Boatyard - after you pass Rick's it will be the second turn off to your left if you came from 38th Street).
We will set a nice easy pace so we can enjoy the water and the company.
Note: There is a $5.00 fee at the automated gate at the boat launch - you will need correct change. There is a card reader there so if you have an annual pass you are good to go!
Eagle Creek does rent kayaks via "Wheel Fun Rentals" - you will need to contact them directly if you wish to rent -- (317) 327-7130.
A better option for rentals may be Rusted Moon. Kayak or canoes rent for $50 for 24 hrs - includes life jacket and paddles. You can also rent them for the weekend for $70.
