You are crossing over to the area of Pike Marsh, a 115-acre area, home to many rare plants. Its outer fen area includes Ohio goldenrod, Kalm's lobelia, dwarf birch and hoary willow, while cattails and bulrushes grow in its interior. Pike Marsh supports one of the state's largest known colonies of pitcher plants, which attract, trap and digest insects. Please review GC - MHSP #01 for information on the overall series. 1. Geocache is placed on IDNR Department managed property with permission of Site Superintendent Greg Kelly. 2. Do not place the following items in the Geocache: Food items, inappropriate ,offensive, or hazardous materials. 3.
