On July 6, 2012, H's Daddy and Flamingo&Frog started a new hobby known as geocaching. When we started we had no idea of the impact it would have on our lives and that of our family, friends and coworkers. It is rare that our family goes more than a few days without getting a cache, we've invested money in a GPSr and we've turned OldManBrimhall into a caching maniac.
In honor of the fact that we have stuck with this hobby for a year, we are inviting the local caching community to celebrate with us at our Cookies and Cokes Event. This should be a great event for cachers with kids as it is in a park with swings, slides and plenty of room to run around. There are currently at least four caches within walking distance, including one that Flamingo really should up the difficulty of.
If you are familiar with Payson, this is at the Dry Creek Park just off of 1400 S East of the state road. The event will be on July 6, 2013 from 2:00-4:00pm. You don't have to feel like you have to stay the whole time, you can even drop by, sign the log and grab a cookie to go if you like.
